The Marion Mahony Griffin Room

Marion Mahony Griffin worked with Frank Lloyd Wright for 14 years and became one of his primary designers. She was responsible for the furnishings in many of his houses. The furnishings in this room are older than the house. Often in Craftsman homes the older furniture was used in areas where just the family went and the more “modern” furniture was in the downstairs area. A lovely feature are the hinged casement windows which open the entire width of this room.
